Having read The Wealthy Barber and multiple public company annual reports by age 12, Tyson has investment management in his blood. At age 16, he opened his first investment account and began working summers in the industry. From those beginnings, Tyson began his wealth management career in earnest in 2005 and has had the privilege of working for three financial institutions since that time.
At Exponent, Tyson works closely with clients to meet their needs. He provides customized, in-depth investment advice and is responsible for portfolio construction, investment analysis and security selection. In addition to his experience in the public markets, Tyson also has over a decade of experience in private investments with a focus on real estate, infrastructure, venture capital, debt and private equity funds.
Tyson serves a broad spectrum of clientele ranging from millennials to retirees and everything in between including trusts, corporations and charitable foundations. Tyson also serves as a member of the family office for high net worth families in the Ottawa area.
In his free time, you can find Tyson spending time with his young family, giving back to the community, on the ultimate frisbee field or if time permits, biking around the city.
